Maidstone Hub

Our Hub at the United Reformed Church, right in the heart of Maidstone town centre, is open every Friday during term-time between 10am and 12pm. Mums are given a warm, Princess Project welcome, and a chance to sit down and chat over a cup of tea, and to meet other mums as well as our friendly team of staff and volunteers. Totcycle is open when the Hub is open (see below).

There are baby changing facilities,  space to feed your baby, and lots of toys and activities to amuse children up to the age of 5. What’s unique about the Hub, however, is that it is a mums’ group, not a baby/toddler group, and you can visit with or without your children. Due to the number of little babies that visit the Hubs, children of school age (5 years) and over are not able to attend for health and safety reasons. If you have older children at home, for whatever reason, regretfully you will not be able to bring them with you to Hub. We also ask that if anyone is unwell, they stay at home to try and keep everyone healthy!

Our team are there to listen, and not judge, and to be a source of friendly support to mums who visit us. We also have lots of information about various services and places you can go to access specialist support should you need it.

Totcycle at the Hub

Our Totcycle baby and toddler bank is open when the Hub is open. To make an appointment, contact our office and we can book you in. We have everything from nappies and formula, to clothing and shoes, to larger items such as prams and highchairs (the only things we aren’t able to supply are electrical items).

We may not have all items available when you visit, but we can arrange for you to visit again and collect them at a later date, or we may be able to deliver to you.

We don’t means test, and although we do accept referrals you are welcome to come to us directly. If you need something, we will try and help meet that need, without asking too many questions. We do ask, however, that to make it fair for everyone, you only visit Totcycle once a month (barring emergencies).
