A Passion for mothers, all precious daughters of God the King

Princess Project fundraising committee are very excited to reveal that this year's Princess Project ball will be a Glitter Ball! Prepare for an evening of sparkle, glitz and glamour as we invite you to join us on Saturday 14th October at the Village Hotel, Maidstone for another unforgettable evening!

Tickets include a red carpet entry and welcome glass of fizz, a scrumptious three course meal and a 'dance the night away' disco. We will be hosting our ever popular charity auction and raffle offering amazing prizes and experiences. Live music will set the mood for the evening, and we welcome a very talented photographer to capture your glamorous entry and the evening's events.

Tickets are £40 each. They are being sold on a first come first served basis. We cannot hold a table until full payment has been made. Please remember that tickets to these events always sell incredibly fast so prompt payment will avoid any disappointment. Tables will seat 10-12 people, but tickets can be bought individually or as pairs as well.

Please do contact us if you have any queries.

This year we have another option available. If you'd like to be a part of this amazing evening but not sure if it's your thing.... or if you don't want to buy a ticket.... why not come and be part of our volunteer team? We need help on the night selling raffle tickets, assisting the auctioneer and looking after our lovely guests. Do get in touch with Emma in the office if you'd like to know more.

If you're not sure whether you would like to join us, why not have a look at what we got up to at last year's ball.....

Our 2016 Masquerade Ball was a tremendous success.

Once again the wonderful Claire Lawson from Heart FM was our host for the evening, and we also welcomed back Charlotte Gardner from Fair of Face who painted our guests in an array of amazing designs. Guests heard from CEO Emma Tanner and trustee and fundraising chair Josie Fletcher about the work of the charity, and, most importantly of all, heard from two of the mums we support. Charlie Forrest couldn't join us on the night but wrote down her story so that our guests could hear in her own words the difference the Princess Project has made to her and her family (you can read Charlie's story here). The lovely Hayley Grant was able to be there, though, and was brave enough to stand up and tell her story- her heartfelt words really spoke to many of us who were there.

Several of the guests were lucky enough to win some truly awesome raffle prizes, including dinner with Prosecco at the Brenchley Inn, Penhaligon's toiletries and a bottle of whiskey! Later in the evening, professional auctioneer Alistair Lang presided over an auction of wonderful lots such as a personal helicopter trip for 2, a behind-the-scenes tour of Heart FM and a year's membership at the Village Hotel gym.

We also had a selfie competition running during the evening- below is the winning entry, that won a bottle of champagne!

Thank you so much to everyone who supported this event in any way.

To Claire Lawson, Alistair Lang and Charlotte Gardner, who gave up their time to be with us.

To everyone who donated our amazing auction lots. Unlike many charity auctions, we didn't pay a penny for any of these lots thanks to the generosity of our fantastic supporters, so every penny raised went straight to the Princess Project.

Special thanks to Peter Seldon, Tony and Caroline Gilson at Hastingleigh Holiday Lets, Claire Lawson and Heart FM, Leeds Castle, Ulric Allsebrook at Frédérics Café Bistro, Anthea and Phillip Mitchell at Hair Professional, Images Unlimited, Eagle Heights, Amy Salter at Pure Fitness and Dance, and the Village Hotel.

To everyone who donated our raffle prizes:

The Brechley Inn, Biddenden Cider, Anne Cole, Becky Kerry, Vicky Lee at Pure Luxury Touch, Sue and Steve Nicholson, Jenny Ridgeway, The Bell Inn, Heritage House Interiors and Tesco Grove Green.

And Finally…..

Thanks to Frazer Hope for designing the programme, Sue Nicholson for the beautiful flower arrangement and to our wonderful fundraising committee (Elaine Bygrave, Josie Fletcher, Davina Foord, Cate Hope, and Denise Owen) for all their hard work over the past year. And last but not least thank you to every single guest for coming along and supporting this event- we were so glad you could join us!

Below are some lovely memories of an unforgettable night. Why not come along and join us in October? You really don't want to miss it!
